Appointment Only – No Call/No Shows

These do not happen often and it is usually due to the customer just forgetting to cancel. Do not forget to cancel your booking if you need to, especially if it is around the holiday season. This just takes up a space that could have been given to someone else that needed it. Arcadia did not have any “no shows” for 2025, but we are having people show up considerably later than their scheduled appointment and not giving us a notification. This behavior and lack of respect for the operation has now prompted a late fee feature which we have been lenient until recently. If a customer is more than 20 minutes late to a predetermined scheduled appointment and no notification is given, there will be a $50 late fee added to your invoice. This is a business as well as dog care at the end of the day. There are rules we abide by to make sure a free range/cage free facility runs smoothly. We will not be waiting for a customer to show up when they feel like it anymore.
