Hello All –
We will be limiting tours of the facility until early November, 2025.
The well-being of the dogs boarding here every day remains our #1 priority. After thoughtful consideration, we have made the decision to discontinue in-person full tours of our facility during most of the Summer. This year and the following years.
This change allows us to focus entirely on providing exceptional care and maintaining a calm, safe environment for all dogs currently boarding. This adjustment will enable us to better allocate our resources toward the daily needs of our boarding dogs. Some of which are special needs dogs.
We appreciate your understanding and continued trust. We are still accepting new dogs by referral only. Pamphlets with pertinent information and images of the boarding accommodations are being made as well. To assist with inquiries please navigate the website for comprehensive information on our operation.
Hello all – We are currently at capacity for the week of the 4th. Specifically, the 2nd – 7th of July.
Please be safe!
Even though 19 years is not a well celebrated nice round number for an anniversary announcement, the number 20 is, and this Memorial Day weekend is our 20th weekend moving us into our 20th year of operation! 20 years ago I (Ryan) started this business and I cannot believe it has been that long. We couldn’t ask for a more beautiful weekend with weather too! Thank you to everyone that has gotten us here this far. Arcadia has become more of a club now these last few recent years accepting referrals only due its success. We have developed into a facility that operates efficiently and safer than any operation we’ve ever experienced. Some would say that we need to expand and get more business, but that is why Arcadia works so well, we stay humble and remain a size where everything about it is well run while providing a more personal experience for each dog.
We are increasing our rates starting June 1st, 2025 to $65 for a single dog and $117 for two dogs. Holiday rate is increasing to $10/night. This increase is due to increasing maintenance costs. Arcadia remains to be an exclusive free range cage-free fully licensed boarding facility in Snohomish County and we thank you for being loyal customers as we stay competitive in this industry while providing a service well beyond traditional kenneling.
Hello again! We just noticed that the contact form has not been working correctly for some reason. We are looking into it. Please contact through email.
Hello all! Quick announcement on the changes for credit cards. Nothing crazy. Square has upped their charges for transaction fees for cards that are charged over the phone, for example. The charge prompting at $600 will remain for the time being, but charges will go up to 4% if the card is not present and manually entered.
I want to thank everyone that has supported Arcadia throughout the years! We have thrived for 18 years now thanks to your support! There have been so many dogs that have walked through these doors in that time and so many memories created. Many great relationships have been made and we are taking the time to appreciate every visitor (dog and human). Arcadia is not going anywhere either! We are here to stay! We will remain a clean, legitimate, attentive and ethical business for years to come.
Starting May 1st for a undetermined limited time only, Arcadia will be accepting new dogs to join the club! We will be only accepting referrals from current established customers. Please set up your time today by email to reserve your required visitation appointment to be part of the Arcadia family!
Well folks, for the last 18 years we have not charged for credit card transaction fees, but that convenience is requiring to come to an end. Transaction fees add up to a significant expense over time and benefit the credit card company for services provided by us. You have probably seen many small and larger companies charge for this convenience. Many specialty credit cards (airline miles/points for example) charge very high rates, some up to 7%!! THOUGH, we wont be huge sticklers on this charge for every transaction as we have 2 set rates through our Point of Sale, Square, which has enabled us to have fixed charges and they will only be applied to high dollar invoices. Starting in 2024, any boarding charges over $600 will incur a non-negotiable 3% transaction fee added on. For credit cards that are not present (manually entered info over telephone), will incur a 3.5% transaction fee. Believe it or not, credit card companies do charge more for when a card is not swiped/tapped in person at the Point of Sale. This price point in which the transaction fee prompts is typically for bookings over 12 nights for 1 dog and about the same for 1 week for 2 dogs. Any bookings totaling lower than that will not incur this new fee.
