The Fourth of July can be one of the most stressful times of the year for dog owners. Between the constant fireworks, the warnings to keep pets safe, the last-minute scramble for calming medications, and the anxiety of wondering how your dog will cope, it can take the enjoyment out of the holiday.
Yesterday was another calm, successful Fourth of July boarding experience, with our guests enjoying a safe, secure, and enriching environment while the fireworks stayed outside. Providing peace of mind for both dogs and their families is exactly why we’re here.
We’ll be opening enrollment around September for year-round boarding. If you anticipate needing quality care for vacations, work trips, or other occasions, now is the perfect time to establish a relationship with us and schedule an orientation.
When it comes to your dog’s care, don’t rely solely on someone advertising online. Choose a licensed, insured, and professionally operated facility where safety, exceptional care, and FUN are the highest priorities.
Today marks 20 years of Arcadia being open. I remember the first day we opened, the first dogs to stay here overnight, and the customers that instilled their trust into me to help me get started. We have come far and weathered many storms including literal bad weather to government policy shifts and we cannot forget COVID and what that did to the entire dog boarding industry. We prevailed as a legitimate commercially licensed facility without ever having to cut any corners thanks to your support. Thank you to everyone and every dog that has visited our ranch since 2006. We will continue to provide our professional personalized service and keep improving the operation for years to come.
Beginning June 1st, 2026, Arcadia Dog Ranch will begin accepting direct referrals from our friends at Bone-a-fide Dog Ranch in Snohomish. We will also continue to welcome referrals from our established customers.
Beginning June 1st, 2026, our overnight boarding rate will increase from $65/night to $75/night.
Like many small businesses, we’ve experienced continued increases in property expenses, supplies, maintenance, contractor costs, and overall operating costs. This adjustment allows us to continue providing the personalized, home-style care, attention, and environment that make Arcadia Dog Ranch special.
We remain committed to providing a safe, comfortable, low-stress environment where dogs receive individualized care and owners can feel confident while they are away.
We are also happy to reintroduce our extended stay discount, with 15% off boarding for stays longer than 3 weeks.
All currently pre-booked reservations for the remainder of the year will be honored at the original rate.
We sincerely appreciate your continued support, loyalty, and trust in Arcadia Dog Ranch. We truly value every customer and every dog that comes through our doors.
Beginning March 1, Arcadia Dog Ranch will no longer accept general public inquiries for new client dogs. We will continue to welcome referrals from established customers.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
These do not happen often and it is usually due to the customer just forgetting to cancel. Do not forget to cancel your booking if you need to, especially if it is around the holiday season. This just takes up a space that could have been given to someone else that needed it. Arcadia did not have any “no shows” for 2025, but we are having people show up considerably later than their scheduled appointment and not giving us a notification. This behavior and lack of respect for the operation has now prompted a late fee feature which we have been lenient until recently. If a customer is more than 30 minutes late to a predetermined scheduled and agreed upon appointment and no notification of arriving late is given, there will be a $50 late fee added to your invoice. This is a business as well as dog care at the end of the day. There are rules we abide by to make sure a free range/cage free facility runs smoothly.
Please note that referral means that you must be referred by an established customer. If you do not have a direct referral from a customer who has boarded their dog here in the past, the open house does not apply.
New dog orientations and trial nights will be available on February 1st, 2026. Send us your referral ahead of time – Email us some upcoming dates for future vacations/work related trips that are in stone and we will get you set up!
Hello All –
We will be limiting tours of the facility until early November, 2025.
The well-being of the dogs boarding here every day remains our #1 priority. After thoughtful consideration, we have made the decision to discontinue in-person full tours of our facility during most of the Summer.
This change allows us to focus entirely on providing exceptional care and maintaining a calm, safe environment for all dogs currently boarding. This adjustment will enable us to better allocate our resources toward the daily needs of our boarding dogs. Some of which are special needs dogs.
We appreciate your understanding and continued trust. We are still accepting new dogs by referral only. Pamphlets with pertinent information and images of the boarding accommodations are being made as well. To assist with inquiries please navigate the website for comprehensive information on our operation.
Hello all – We are currently at capacity for the week of the 4th. Specifically, the 2nd – 7th of July.
Please be safe!
